The Candidates and their Qualifications
My experiences as practicing attorney, not only gave me knowledge of the law involving this Court at Law but a focused knowledge and a unique practice for each of the areas of law practiced in this court.
In all of the types of cases seen by this court, I have over 40 years of experience, either as a practicing attorney or as judge in the Rusk County Court at Law. One of the most interesting cases is when I sat as the judge for a case involving a Will contested in an estate valued over 100 million dollars. For you, as a citizen of Rusk County the most important duty to your fellow citizens is to place in this position the most qualified and experienced candidate.
My closing statement is: First, that you participate in the Republican Primary and cast your vote in February and early March, 2026. Second, vote on who is the best qualified and most experienced candidate for the office based on years of qualified experience for this court.
Third, choose the one who has a well established reputation for practicing fairness in all areas of the law essential to the continued operations of this court.
My committed pledge to you is to work as a fair and impartial judge. As I have taken sworn oath to do, I will uphold and follow the “Rule of Law”. My goal, as judge, is to work out and apply the “Rule of Law”; to insure justice; and, to resolve conflicts and disagreements among our citizens. I will continue my oath to stand tall for the rule of law in Rusk County.
I ask for your prayers, support, and vote to continue as your County Court at Law Judge. My parting thought is the Bible verse that has guided me through my entire life in Romans 8:28. “We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose”.
